Description |
Metal hand peeler attached to an original product tag by a metal wire. The header on the tag reads, "APPROVED PREPRODUCTION SAMPLE". The product is listed as: Peeler, Potato, Hand FSN 7330-238-8316. The inspection date is November 28, 1962, conducted by Mr. Nichols. Signature of E.J. Beamon, Contracting Officer. The peeler itself has a metal handle, which has a textured surface of incised lines - perhaps to imitate army camo? Also engraved on the side of the handle is, "TURNER & SEYMOUR TORRINGTON, CONN." The blade is partially covered in a black safety coating. |
