Description |
Circular saw blade, also known as a dado blade, used at Hotchkiss Brothers Company. Circular bore hole in the center measuring 1in in diameter to attach blade to saw. Each tooth on the blade measures 1/8in in height, and about 1/4in width between each tooth. The blade rests flat and smooth. Maker's mark stamped on one side of the saw: "SIMONDS SAW AND STEEL CO. / FITCHBURG, MASS. / MADE IN U.S.A. / When sharpening, maintain the 45 degree face bevel and keep the teeth hooked 13 degrees back of center". |
