Description |
Fitzgerald Star-Rite electric hair dryer inside its original case. The case is made of wood and covered in black faux leather material. Metal enclosure (Corbin Co.) snaps shut to keep the lid closed. Inside, the base of the case is lined with purple linen material. The interior of the top lid is fitted with a paper certificate with a green decorative border. The certificate reads: "The Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company / Torrington, Conn. U.S.A. / This is to certify that the Star-rite Electric Hair dryer No. 105229 is sold to the consumer at the full advertised list price and entitles the owner to a guarantee of one year on the Star-rite Electric Hair Dryer against defective material and workmanship. We will replace or repair any part due to faulty mechanical construction within that period provided it is forwarded to us with transportation charges prepaid." Certificate contains signature of the President, PJ Fitzgerald. Printed in the background in large orange text is $12.50. The hair dryer itself has a wooden handle painted black. The power cord - covered in black wire protector - comes out of its base. There are two red push buttons in the handle. The head of the dryer is made of metal. The circular opening through which heat emits is covered in wire mesh. Metal red tag screwed into the head with product info: 105-115 volts A.C. / 25-60 cycles / 4 amp. / serial 105229 / style 1202. |
