Description |
STAR Violet Ray electrotherapy device manufactured by Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company and used for electrotherapy. The medical device comes inside a wooden case covered in faux leather material. The case has a leather handle on the top lid, secured in place by two metal hinges. A metal snap enclosure made by Corbin Company keeps the lid closed. Inside the box, the handle and two detachable applicator/wands are secured to the underside of the lid. The handle is black (made of bakelite?) and attached to the power cord which then connects to the main power box. The power box also has a separate plug-in power cord to connect to an electrical outlet. The applicators are made of glass, which glows violet when the device is in use. One has a rounded, circular end for pressing to the body and the other a slight U shape. There is a metal rectangular plate screwed in to the power box with product info: volts 110 / watts 8 / No. 18917. |
