Description |
Torrington National Bank money bag and key. The bag is reddish-brown in color and made of durable, canvas material. There is a brown leather patch in the top left corner corresponding with the metal lock mechanism inside the bag. Stitched in cursive lettering on the front: "The Torrington Natl. Bank & Trust Co. Torrington Conn." The number '42' is also marked in pencil on the front of the bag. The interior is empty. The original metal key is inserted into the lock mechanism. The handle of the key is circular with the following information stamped into it: "A.RIFKIN & CO. / WILKES BARRE" and on the back: "YALE / RG34". The metal lock mechanism is also stamped with the information: "ARCOLOCK / Made For A. RIFKIN & CO. / Wilkes Barre, PA. / Pat. 1950415". |
