Description |
Painting, oil on canvas, depicting a collage of memorable Torrington scenes during the 1955 flood. In foreground are images of lumber and debris. Also pictured in painting are a boat rescuing people, a helicopter hovering overhead, two houses off their foundation (reminiscent of Wolcott Ave.) Painting was donated by the artist in 1956.
