Description |
Flatware set of 1 three-tined fork, 2 two-tined meat forks, and 1 knife. The handle of the three-tine fork is made of wood: one, smooth piece. The head of the fork is metal. The three tines are the same length. The two outer tines bend slightly inwards towards the middle tine. "STEEL" is engraved on the back of the fork's neck. The two-tined meat forks are made of metal and wood. The handles are one piece of smooth wood. The ends of the handles are slightly wider than the edge that meets the metal section of the fork. There is one nail in the center of the handles that secures it to the fork. The word "STEEL" is engraved in the metal on the backside of the fork. On one of the forks, the "L" had been stamped twice, perhaps due to an error. Like the forks, the knife has a metal head and a smooth wooden handle. One nail secures the handle to the knife. The blade of the knife has a manufacturer's mark engraved, "GREAVES & SONS" surrounded by a decorative border. |
