Description |
Star Rite electric heater made by the Fitzgerald Manufacturing Co. Similar in shape to the Fitzgerald tabletop fans but without the blades. Both the head and the base are made of metal, perhaps brass - heavy with a slight golden sheen. Inside the bowl of the head and the wire guard are copper plated. The center piece of the guard is a medallion with the information stamped: "THE FITZGERALD MFG CO / TORRINGTON CONN / MADE IN USA / Star Rite / TYPE 'C' HEATER / 630 WATT 110 VOLT / CAT. N0452". Sticking out from the center of the bowl is a tube-like device surrounded by a coil of metal wire. The original plug-in power cord is still attached to the appliance. |
